‘Prince’ of paperbacks now out

            The best seller world wide isn’t worthy, unless it’s Harry Potter. All over the US, Harry Potter is the No.1 best seller. Right now there are 13.5 million hardcovers in print, and that’s not even including the 2 million in paperback. The first three books were printed more on paperback than hardcover. Since the fourth book of the bestseller series, the books are now mostly hardcover.

Stores are now putting the Half Blood Prince on prominent display in the children’s section. Bookstores are expecting excitement and big sales, just because it’s Harry Potter. The biggest anticipation, however, is for the seventh and final book in the series. They know that the seventh book is not going to come out for a while, but stores are already making room.

Even movie stars know about Harry Potter. In the Devil Wears Prada, Meryl Streep gave her assistant, Anna Hathaway, a mission. That mission was to retrieve the manuscript for the new Harry Potter book. She asked this because her twin daughters are big Harry Potter fans. Anna seems to pull off the impossible, thanks to the charms of Simon Baker (screen writer). But some people think that this is a lie. “Dream on”, they all say. “Nobody has ever gotten an advanced copy of a Harry Potter book.”
